About Anna

A little about me

I’ve had a difficult relationship with exercise and body image. Ten years ago I had an eating disorder. Pressures from society to look a certain way and life stresses eventually took its toll and I was over-exercising and under-eating. This led to being told by health professionals that if I kept this going, I would become anorexic.

After a lot of work on myself and help from others, I finally committed to making a change. It was 100% the most difficult time in my life but I persisted until I found a healthy relationship with exercise and food.

Along the way I realised that by focusing on aesthetics, I would never be happy with the way I looked. There would always be something that I wanted to change or fixate on. By shifting my mindset to moving in a way that made me feel good and would benefit my future self, it completely changed (and saved) my life. Exercise, and life, became fun again!

This journey shaped my approach as a personal trainer. I will always prioritise your wellbeing over aesthetics. I refuse to measure clients by ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos and instead promote a positive environment where exercise is about sparking joy and supporting lifelong health. While aesthetic goals can be part of a fitness journey, they are never the primary focus.

My mission is to help you let go of unrealistic expectations, discover what your body can do, find what makes you feel good and work towards the future self you envision.

My Three Pillars

It's all about you

No generic exercise programmes here. Every program I design is meticulously tailored to your unique lifestyle, movement goals, preferences, and any injuries or health considerations. By integrating a deep understanding of your individual needs with an evidence based approach, I’ll create a highly effective, personalised movement programme. This ensures you’re not just exercising but moving with purpose, so you can continue to live the life you want

How you feel, not how you look

My focus is on movement that feels good and supports a life filled with what you love to do. Real results aren’t about the number on the scale; they’re about feeling strong, capable, and ready for life.

Sustainable for the long term

If your goal is purely short-term, I’m probably not the personal trainer for you. My focus is on helping you build lasting habits that support your long-term health, enhance your mobility, and enable you to keep doing the activities which bring you joy.

My Accreditations
